Hey, I’m Emma, welcome to my tiny corner of the internet! In a nutshell, I’m a super friendly, fun loving, story telling photographer from a little town on the Norfolk/Cambridgeshire boarder.

The idea of a page just about me makes me feel a little queasy! Self glorification is really not my thing and I don’t want to bore you all with my life story as it will send you to sleep, so I will keep this quite short and sweet and just tell you a little bit more about me as a person not just a photographer.

To be honest, I’m not that exciting and there’s not much to know about me. When I am not out taking photos I am a busy 40 year old mum of 4. Iron is nearly 19, Daisy 18, Lily 15 and my little boy Hayden has just turned 7. Yup it’s a mad house! I have been married to my husband Ian for 21 years! He and the kids (plus my 2 cockapoos Ziggy and Willow, my cat Nessie and Rat Albert) are basically my life outside photography.

I am a massive movie geek, love most genres but i’m a sucker for a Wes Anderson film, I’m a full blown Lord of the Rings nerd and I pretty much love any film that has the score written by Hans Zimmer, I often listen to the Interstellar score whilst editing.. makes my life feel a bit more epic! I even used to work part time at my local indie cinema. I LOVE music and going to gigs is my biggest me time past time, I love live music! I am a teeny bit obsessed with Foo Fighters and being my fave band for almost 28 years I decided to dedicate a full sleeve tattoo to them this year. I also love getting out with the family for beach days. If I wasn’t a photographer I would have loved to have been a doula to support women during childbirth OR if money was no object I would set up an animal sanctuary and just cuddle cows and pigs all day!

OH HELLO!

My photography style has been described as Natural, Romantic, and Emotional. I like to think of myself as a storyteller, capturing your day as it unfolds so you get beautiful, natural, and authentic memories to treasure. I love to snap those genuine moments of joy and emotion, the smiles, the tears, and even the full blown belly laughter showing just how much of a great day you had.

I use natural light and shadow as much as possible and will forever chase the stunning golden hour light in the evenings just before the sun sets.

I wholeheartedly believe in equality for all and I am proud supporter and ally to the LGBTQ+ community... I want to capture every kind of love story.

I like to run my business as eco friendly and ethically as I can. To offset the amount of travelling I have to do I have become a member of Ecology. My membership contributes to many amazing Reforestation and Carbon Offsetting Projects. I am also a member of the Sustainable wedding alliance, is collective of business’s with the joint purpose of creating a more sustainable, environmentally conscious wedding industry. So if you are looking to have a wedding that is more eco friendly, I would love to be the photographer to capture it!
